SROPly Rodents in the Wild, and Where to Find Them

As long-time followers know, all the furry faced folks at Smashed-Rat-on-Press are excessively paranoid, absurdly private, and live together amicably under a rock (more like a boulder, really) in beautiful downtown Santa Banana.

But some of the folks also have accounts on various "social media" platforms and sometimes post things, or not, in different places. If you happen to be on any of those platforms, feel free to inquire at the speakeasy for directions. Or you could venture forth on your own and try to find the Easter eggies...

Occasionally, the head rodent posts bits on ELLO, including short political rants, art rants, links to news articles, and links to blogs. They are often accompanied by snarky commentary, so you probably don't want to go there.

The Smashed-Rat-on-Press Twitter feed is utterly empty, which makes me laugh every time I look, but please don't follow that because it's like watching Schrödinger's Box explore its own empty boxiness. But Kajolium Broadwick maintains a Twitter-based interstellar numbers station that occasionally posts, you guessed it, strings of numbers. (It's the reader's job to figure out where the feed is, where it's aimed, and what the numbers mean. Puzzle enthusiasts, take note.)

The head rodent's SROP Wordpress blog is almost empty, aside from one old forwarding message, so that's probably not very interesting. The head rodent's Tumblr feed is completely empty because all he does is follow a few artists. (But with the recent Tumblr hoopla, those artists probably won't be around that water cooler for much longer.) But never fear, because the head rodent also has a Bandcamp account, and if you can find that you can read blurbs about some music that he likes (but which isn't classical or jazz).

The head rodent used to post quite a bit on DeviantArt.com and the appallingly modest body of work is hanging out there in the virtual gallery while posterity passes it by. Most of the "Art" is atrocious or ranty or both, so please don't go there, unless you get a free ride in the Batmobile. But some SROP book covers, real and imagined, either found their way over there, or originated there. (So it's like a mixed bag of Every Flavour Jelly Beans, and you know what they say about those.)

Mantissa Etherbright is actually on Facebook, but she only comes out to play when nobody's looking. She also has a somewhat active Instagram feed, but it's totally private. You can ask at the speakeasy if you have an insatiable desire to peek into her boring cutlery drawer. Mantissa's wife, Sanguinity Hematode, is so utterly, insanely private that she follows no social media and only posts occasional blogs here on GR. You can only find her corporeally at special events, most often on Halloween Night, or by employing an author whisperer.

The other SROP siblings, like Shenanigan Cheesefield, H. Cogito Epsilon, and Ginger Amelia Sprockette are usually unavailable for comment.

Just one more reminder, as we near the end of 2018: please help SROP attain that coveted second shut-out year in a row by refraining from all purchases in December. Thank you.

Happy Miscellaneous Year-End Holidays to all.
