Furthermore...

facts-i-just-made-up:

As some of you have noticed, I haven’t had any new facts for a while. That’s because I’ve been busy with school but also, after 6 years, I’m starting to run out of non-stop falsities. When the blog began it posted 24 facts a day, they flowed like snot from a congested elephant. In time it dwindled to one a day, and now, one whenever I think of one, which hasn’t been for a while.

So the blog kind of has to change or die off. With the new bans coming, even if it doesn’t get deleted accidentally, death seems all but inevitable. But I want to try change first. My online persona has altered over the years along with my real personality. I began this blog when I had major depression, which is now in remission. So to be honest, I think my sense of humor actually altered with that and the excessive fact production was a symptom that’s now easing.

I also went from severe introvert to severe extrovert, dependent more and more on others and less and less desperate to have time alone. And also became a far less toxic person but that’s neither here nor there. But the reason I mention all this possibly overshared material is because, in addition to letting those who need to know it know that depression can be treated successfully, I’ve never actually properly introduced myself. To date, there are no pictures of me online aside from the kid picture that shows up on my google search.

So whatever this blog may become, I want to introduce you to the guy who runs it for the first time as a public figure, which a film career will require I be:

Ari Bach, author, artist, filmmaker, USC film student, 37, looks like this:

Hi everyone. Pleased to meet you finally. My inbox and messages are always open :)

For anyone wondering what I look like.
