CATALYST!
The wonderful, wonderful people at Penguin (actually, the Puffin imprint) have come up with a new cover for CATALYST. What do you think? Will teens reach for it?

Yes. I really like this. It stands out more than the one I grabbed at the library.

It looks like a movie poster, and almost made me think, "wait, it's being made into a movie???" I like the photo and think it will grab the attention of teens, especially teen girls. Now are they going to do new covers for "Speak" and "Twisted" as well?
I agree, much better. :) Fits the novel much more.

Now are they ..."I agree, it does look like a movie poster. It definitely looks like something I'd watch. :) And the photo is beautiful. I especially love the lighting. I like the cover for Twisted, but I wouldn't object to a revamp. :)

Yes, indeed. I have to sell the book to get students to look past the old cover. This one will have them reaching for the book on their own.

I have to agree with Philena. This one is going to sell itself. Very timely for my library as our copies of Catalyst are almost worn out.
I loved this book. I like the new cover a lot. I think teens will pick it to check it out. I like the new cover for Prom too. Much better than the limo version.
I think it's fantastic. I know my students will read it! They love your work (as do I). I was wondering when Ashes was going to come out, but now I see that you've been writing Catalyst! You have been busy! Can't wait to read it! Best, Anne Detwiler, Middle School Librarian, CA

As a preservice English teacher, I think that teens will definitely appreciate this cover. Also, I love the scientific/mathematical jargon in the background.
