2019 subscription offer
Dear Friends,
Happy holidays and season’s greetings!
Some fantastic news to share — we will once again be offering a subscription for our 2019 original titles! There is a change to our hardcover offerings. All hardcovers will now have the same cover art as the trade paperbacks. Pricing remains the same as our 2018 subscription. Yay!! The 3-book trade paperback subscription is $60 (U.S), and includes worldwide shipping. The 3-book hardcover subscription is $90 (U.S.), including worldwide shipping. That is a $15 saving per subscription off the regular price. These are the 3 titles offered in the 2019 subscription:
“This House of Wounds,” by Georgina Bruce
“Sing Your Sadness Deep,” by Laura Mauro
“All the Things We Never See,” by Michael Kelly
Early in the new year we will be starting our subscription drive. We hope you are as excited about these upcoming collections as we are. (At least those first two.)
Our two limited edition “contemporary classics” reprints — “The Moon Will Look Strange,” by Lynda E. Rucker, and “The Lost District,” by Joel Lane — will be sold separately.
The reserves on our limited edition reprints are filling fast, so please let me know if you want me to hold a copy. I am not taking any funds yet. I am only taking expressions of interest. In the new year I will be in touch about pricing.
For those who haven’t yet picked up “Nothing is Everything,” by Simon Strantzas, you can still save $5 on the book by using Coupon Code nie5 upon checkout of the Undertow shop. Simon believes this is his best work yet, and we agree. It’s truly a masterpiece. I love all the stories, but was particularly taken with ‘Our Town’s Talent,’ ‘In This Twilight,’ ‘The Terrific Mr. Toucan,’ and ‘Ghost Dogs.’ Let us know which are your favourites.
“Welcome to Nothing is Everything, the latest collection by Simon Strantzas. Taking the paths less traveled to the human heart and mind, and excavating the strangeness that abides therein, Strantzas is one of the most striking writers working today.”
-Angela Slatter, author of the World Fantasy Award-winning The Bitterwood Bible and Other Recountings
That’s all the news for now. We will reveal another gorgeous cover next newsletter, this time for Laura Mauro’s collection “Sing Your Sadness Deep.”
Wishing you all a happy, healthy holiday season. Good will and good fortune to all.
Kindest Regards,
-Michael (and the Undertow team)
