Twitter Twit

That be me. I am honestly starting to get the guilts about people following me on Twitter. They have nothing to follow. I am lost in this wilderness of drive-by posts and dangling conversational bits.

I'm so sorry!

I don't know how to respond to comments. I don't know how to participate in discussions. I don't feel like hunting down and reading instructions.

So . . . how do I get involved? Do I want to get involved? I'm not entirely sure yet. There are so damned many wackos out there! I haven't felt too kindly disposed toward social networking lately, because sometimes the Web bears an alarming resemblance to a spider web, with plump, toxic arachnids just lying in wait and trembling with anticipation 'cause they're so eager to pounce. I don't want them near me!

But anyway, for future reference, how does Twitter work? I just haven't bothered to get the hang of it.

Mandapanda I have no idea how it works. I joined up a while ago thinking that somehow messages would be sent to my mobile but nothing ever happened. lol

But your post reminds me of my experience with facebook. I joined last year when the floods were on in our state to get updates from the police etc. Since then I've managed to annoy a whole lot of people who have sent friend requests that i have either not noticed or forgotten about cause I never check my facebook account! I also have no idea why people would be interested in me writing that I've just bought a new pair of sunnies or washed the dog etc. I'm not much good at social networking either so you're not alone.;)

K.Z. Snow Yes, Facebook too! In some ways it's even nuttier because of all the extra stuff going on.

Well, I'll play around with Twitter a bit, see if I like it. But I can't be dumping too much time into these networks.
