Wouldn't It Be Loverly to Win a DVD of MY FAIR LADY?

We all love Eliza Doolittle. She's a romantic heroine you simply can't forget for SO many reasons, not least among them that scene at the race track when she forgets to be a lady! As I'm going to see a production of MY FAIR LADY this coming week, I'd love to celebrate by giving away a DVD copy of the movie. So if you're a US resident, just leave a comment here to be entered!

Please answer at least one of the following questions:

1) my favorite song from MY FAIR LADY

2) my favorite scene from MY FAIR LADY

3) my favorite character from MY FAIR LADY

4) if you've never seen MY FAIR LADY, your favorite musical

5) character traits you like best in your romantic heroines in books, movies, etc.

Have fun!!!

Cheerio, mates~

Sara My favorite song in MY FAIR LADY: It is a toss up with so many wonderful songs! I love two songs depending on my mood. When I think of romance: "On the Street Where You Live". When I feel happy: "I Could Have Danced All Night".

Sara Hi Kieran, How exciting to see MY FAIR LADY! I'll be humming those songs the rest of the day! Enjoy the show. BTW, I love those Impossible Bachelors. Finished your latest two days after it was available. Would have finished it sooner, but I had to do my job! Love your books! Can't wait for your next! Thanks!

Kieran Kramer Wow, Sara, thank you so much!!! Your note just made my day. I'm off to drive to the show (about an hour and a half away), and in the car, I'll be belting out those numbers, too!

Hugs!!!

Michelle Hi Keiran~So, I just realized I've never seen My Fair Lady, which is just sad considering how much I love musicals! I have 2 favorite musicals. First,Oklahoma, because it was my introduction into musicals. When I was about 12, my grandmother had a roll in the production with her local theater group & when I spent the summer, I was invited to be part of the supporting cast! So much fun!!! My second favorite is Les Miserables! It was one of my favorite books in high school (still is!) and I remember seeing the musical & thinking, "Amazing!". Someday, I'd love to see a musical on Broadway. It's on my "Bucket List".

Kieran Kramer Dear Chelly, I LOVE Oklahoma!!! It was one of my first musicals, too. My mom played Ado Annie. I remember thinking I didn't like seeing her act so flirtatious, LOL!! I also love Les Miserables. I hope your dream of seeing a musical on Broadway comes true. I finally got to do that a few years ago--I saw Phantom of the Opera!! it was so good.

It's been nice talking to you here, Chelly. And if you ever do get a chance to see My Fair Lady as a local theater production, try to go. The dancing alone is worth it. That's another thing I like about musicals...the dancing!!!

Have a happy Thanksgiving!!!

Hugs,

Kieran :>)
