… it feels like everyone has a perfect life, except you.
Your friends — they are traveling abroad, pursuing higher education in the best university, working in one of the most reputable companies, having some cool friends and a caring lover, and all about the good life.
And, you… you don’t even have anything to show off. It’s like everyone is successful, except you.
Don’t you know… everything always looks beautiful from far away?
I mean, picture this: You’re on the ground, and you see an airplane flying in the sky. If you have never been on an airplane, you may think, “It must be wonderful on the airplane.”
Well, when you’re on the airplane, yes, the scenery is majestic, but sometimes you have to face the bad weather, the changing pressure, anxiety during turbulence, long hours, tiring trips, and when you see the ground, you will mumble, “It must be comfortable to be down there.”
And, when you’re on the ground, the story will be different. You will be trapped in a traffic jam; too hot weather, too cold weather; people you are not comfortable with; suspicious strangers.
Everything always looks beautiful from far a way, my friend.
Be grateful what you’ve had now.
You never know what kind of thorns slipped behind those beautiful lives.
