What is ‘Stepping Off’? Read The Dream Daughter to Find Out! (And Win a Candle!)

Here’s a little video John and I put together to entice you to read my new book, The Dream Daughter. Have fun!

And here’s a yummy citrus verbena Dream Daughter candle for you! Just leave a comment telling me what would give you the courage to step off, and I’ll randomly select two of you to win a candle. I can’t mail the candles internationally, I’m afraid, so the giveaway will be limited to the US. Good luck!

Megan Johnson I do believe that just like Caroline my family would give me the courage to step off. I am all about family and spending time with them and giving them everything they need to succeed in life.

❤Marie Gentilcore I would want to step off over water too! PS: This is my favorite Diane Chamberlain book. It was sooooo good!!! So very good!

Diane I read The Dream Daughter from start to finish in less than a week! It truly was an unputdownable book! I would love to step off and go back to May of 1982, to finally know if "what ifs" came to fruition.....there are other years that I would step off to help change what happened to my grandson at birth and knowing what we know now he would have a normal life and grow to be a man instead of dying at the tender age of 10. I know I say it every time but this book by Diane Chamberlain is truly my favorite! Run to get your copy today!

Laura Trimmer I loved this book. I happen to have read it at the time I visited the 9/11 Museum.

Judi I really cannot imagine what it would take for me to step off. I would want to but I know I would be very afraid. Probably the less I thought of it the easier it would be so if something suddenly happened to one of my grandchild and there was the opportunity maybe I could do it.
Love the Dream Daughter - my favorite book this year!

Bunny Shockley I have read all of your books and each one gets better than the last. I could not put this book down and would hope that I would have the courage she did to step off.

Kayla Carrillo Like Caroline, I would step off for my son without any hesitation. Wonderful book!

message 8: by Wendy Abramson (new)

Wendy Abramson Diane Chamberline is my favorite author. I wait patiently for each of her books to come out. The concept of stepping out really made me think and honestly I would not hesitate to step out for one of my daughters. I can literally feel how Carly is feeling and can’t wsit to finish the book. (I had to put it down at 2 am in order to get some sleep)! My 27 year old daughter is reading it along with me on her kindle as well, so it will be a good discussion once we finish it. Thank you DC!

Annmarie It was a great book!! It made me wonder what would I do in that situation.

Wendy Allex Wonderful question! Something to do with family... but I'd still be terrified to step off.
