I have a confession to make

I'm really excited to announce that I'm now writing under a new pen name!

Years ago, I started out writing short stories and serials. Since I'm a short writer by nature, I thought I'd have some fun by going back to my roots. I miss writing those shorter, edgier books. And I want to experiment a little with a different writing style. So, since I didn't want to disappoint any of my regular readers by putting these out under J.S. Scott, I created the pen name of Lane Parker.

As always, these will be safe romance reads. No cheating, and always a HEA. But I'm going to pick a variety of tropes, from crazy royal romances to the curvy girl romances that I started out writing years ago. Yes, you will have to suspend belief with a lot of these outrageous, sexy love stories, but I do hope you'll take this journey with me. But, be warned, many of these stories will be serials, duets, or novellas.

I'm keeping the pen name in Kindle Unlimited for now, so you'll have to go to Amazon if you want check them out.

Right now, I'm just finishing a serial entitled Dearest Stalker under the Lane Parker pen name. God, I'm having so much fun with this one. Okay, maybe it's a little crazy for a woman to fall for her stalker, but I couldn't resist giving this scenario a try in this latest story, putting my own twist to it so it doesn't have any kind of "ick" factor.

If you detest serial romances, or if you aren't into short, hot reads, then you can just skip this pen name, but there will always be a little of the J.S. Scott style in every one of these shorter, just-for-fun stories.

These books will in no way affect my current series. I'll be putting out stories for this pen name as time permits between other obligations.
