I read the article. Some points I agree with – many I do not. Courageous to suggest such a potentially polarizing read with the potential social media firestorm that could erupt (in this day-and-age). Though I’m not surprised, Marines have the courage to do, say, and write the hard stuff – like your book. Perhaps you’ve read Smedley Butler’s thought-provoking book War is a Racket? It’s good to read, talk, and debate – it’s how we get better. I also think that afterward, it’s good to go have a beer together and enjoy friends, family, fellowship, and the many other things that matter and to, hopefully, realize that there's so much more that can bring us together than that which drives us apart – that’s how America gets better.
