I Practice What I Preach

I guess this has been bothering me for awhile.So,I to clear up my mind so I can concentrate on someFictionI want to write.Today I have to talk about theReal World,and not theMTV Showthat is scripted beforehand,against theTV World.I was watchingThe Good Doctorlast night.A show that I really like.Which is unusual for me because it is another medical show.Ever since I was growing up there has been two kinds of standardTelevision ProgramsthatNetworks Channelsfirst adhered to,thenCable Companiesgot into,and finallySatellite Providersfollowed suite to provide.(Excuse the pun.)

Medical DramasandPolice Dramas.  The first medical drama onTVaired in 1951 calledCity Hospital. There have been hundreds of shows ever since.The first police drama onTVaired in 1949 calledStand By For Crime. Also,there have been hundreds of crime shows since.My only problem is,they do not depict the real world.The sensationalize everything for heighten drama.The last time I was in my localHospitala sick homeless person was admitted into theERand stabilized.He was quickly transferred downtown to aCity Hospitalthat is required by law to treat everyone even if they can't afford to pay for services.Life is not like Medical Television Drama

TVwhere everyHospitaland everyDoctorare interested in curing every patient.They are each a business in themselves,out to make as much money as possible,or they go out of business.Don't believe in theTelevision Hype. Be your own advocate about yourMedical Needs.Ask questions.Search the internet.Get a second opinion.TV is not the real world where everyone is on the top of their game.Remember,there once was aDoctor who graduated head of his classand there once was aDoctorwho graduated last in his class.Not saying the one last in his class is a badDoctor.TheDoctorwho graduated first in his class could be so arrogant that he thinks he is never wrong
and never sees the mistakes he is making.It is up to you toQuestion Everything.For your own good health.I'm not going to get intoPolice Dramasand how most of the stuff you see onTVabout forensics is mostly false.If they used that muchForensicsfor every crime committed,
the Police Department'sbudgets would be as high as the military's!If you are a conspiracy theorist,you will find my storyThe Megestanuinteresting.It explains howTelevisionandMoviesare used to give the public a false hope of security.
