She soon discovers she’s been transported to a remote detention facility called the Crater, where she has been sentenced to a life of hard labor. Charlie and her fellow inmates try to make the best of their circumstances, but as the mysteries of the Crater unfold, it becomes evident that the facility is harboring some dark and disturbing secrets.
As she copes with the brutality of life in the Crater, Charlie must also come to grips with her own painful past, including her strained relationship with her abusive mother.
