Yes. Let’s keep people poor and distitute so that the few living in developed countries can plunder the earth.
Clearly you’ve never lived in poverty for any extended period of time. And no, it isn’t the poor or developing countries that are plundering the environment. It is the few of us that are living in luxury and posting to goodreads from our cell phones.

I didn't say any of the things you're accusing me of saying.

Perhaps those that have plundered the environment can fix it while the poor focus on feeding, clothing, and housing themselves with a little bit of dignity to spare.

The uplifting of the poor and the care for climate change are not mutually exclusive.


I appreciate that as a family of four achieves $20k/year, birth rates decline drastically and education and health rises exponentially.
As we increase equality for women with education (not marriage), asset-building/entrepreneuring, and health, the extreme poverty in Nigeria will soon be a sad memory.
