Brand New Cover for Finding Riley

Today, we’re launching a pretty big change for Finding Riley (Book 2 in the Forever Home series). For quite some time (almost since it released in 2016), I’ve wanted to improve the cover for this book. It wasn’t terrible before, but it was the first cover I did myself and, to me, the quality just wasn’t up to par with my other books. Even with the other books in this series.


I’ve learned a lot about making covers since then and was finally able to get some time to work on this. We really love how it turned out. Nothing on the INSIDE of the book has changed. Thankfully, there wasn’t any need for that. So far, it’s received 344 Amazon reviews (Avg. 4.8 Stars).

Irene I read Finding Riley and enjoyed it very much. I wish you hadn't changed the cover though. I love books about dogs and one day I may be drawn to your new cover and not recognizing it I would think I had not read the book and buy it again.

I really don't like it when the covers on books are changed it really messes with my memory.

Sandi I prefer the original cover because it's the picture that was taken before they turned Smiley/Riley in. It's mentioned in the book when the photo was taken. I don't think there was a need to change the cover. I like your design Dan. Love the series by the way. I have the last one to read yet.
