#24 – chop

Josie did not want to chop off her hair, but Ada convinced her it was for the sake of her art, and when Ada was in a convincing sort of mood, she usually always got her way. So before she could change her mind – and figuring regret was better than incurring Ada’s wrath and inevitable cold shoulder for at least week – Josie succumbed to the scissors.
