I’m so happy to have met one of my favourite authors – Wendy Orr – in person at her launch for SWALLOW’S DANCE at Queen Books! (beaming) She is as kind and thoughtful and intelligent as she online. And she signed my copy of PEELING THE ONION, too! As well as SWALLOW’S DANCE.

And I couldn’t believe that she mentioned that I am a powerful YA writer in the Q&A! It was incredibly generous and kind of her.I’m glad she met Petal, too.
