Day 12. You should be 20,004 words into your new novel. Yes, I know I said 2,004 at one point. I corrected it in the cast, you're not getting off that easy.

I believe that it's a fantastic idea to write a little extra each day and build in a cushion so when you have to, you can take a day off. Also, reward yourself for your good writing habits. I'm just sayin'. (Today, I found a Star Wars Roleplaying Game Core Rulebook-not saga edition, dagnabit, for $7.99. Hello, rewarding myself!)

Also, have the end in mind. Yes, it's good writing advice, as well as being one of the 7 habits of highly effective people. Have that ending in mind. Know where you think it's going. Build up to it.
