Hello everyone. Happy Friday! Tonight we have relatives from Australia staying with us ready for beginning their travels home on Saturday. Then on Saturday, we have the six-month interview at our wedding venue … I can’t believe where the last six months have gone, lol.
It’s been a productive week here, despite my arm and shoulder still being awful. I have to limit the mouse-work on the computer, but otherwise the virus and the back pain have gone, yay! More achieved on my WIP as well as Flash Fiction stories and short stories. I came up with a descriptive line I adore on my WIP; here’s the paragraph …
‘Emotions grew around the visual memory like mould. Unwanted and poisonous. He had been but a boy. Young and weak and ignorant. He hadn’t known the way of the world. Not back then. And still, the old feelings held him prisoner so that he could not simply walk away from the woman bleeding out on the dirt floor.’
I’ve chosen this week’s quote for inspiration, and also because Mr Bradbury says ‘most’ of his friends. Even on that great diet, nothing is guaranteed. I’m writing because I love it. Reading too. Anything else is a bonus
