The Tharsis Plain volcanoes, and the white features are clouds, common over the huge Tharsis volcanoes in mid-afternoon. This is the best I can do for a free-use image, but here’s a link to the latest strange cloud!

There’s a strange cloud on Mars, ripping off the top of a Tharsis Plain volcano. Right where my scifi colony sets up!

The cloud has nothing to do with volcanic action or real-life colonys, but still plenty cool!
