I had a Sierra Club postcard of a Sunrise scene over the Skeena River in British Columbia, Canada.  It reminded me of the recently seen film, A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT, and I decided to send it to mom.
October 25, 1992Dear Mom,Does this card remind you of A RIVER RUNS THROUGH IT?  I liked it so much I saw it again with Alan.By now, you should be a grandmother for the sixth time…unless it’s overdue.The ducks are quaking on the canal right now.We have to arrange your next trip down here and the next time you have to stay for four to seven days at the very least!  I miss you.Love,Michael

EROTICA by Madonna:  Of course she would come up with song with that title.  No surprise.IT’S MY LIFE by Dr. Alban:  And it’s true…it is YOUR LIFE…so take the right paths.I’M GONNA GET YOU by Bizarre Inc.:   Well, we all want to get ‘someone’ at some point.MY NAME IS PRINCE by Prince:   We all know his name, yes.   Still…by far my favorite tune by him is “1999”.And I think the coolest song that I heard today is RHYTHM IS A DANCER by SNAP!  It’s because it makes me want to get up off of my ass to dance or ‘ride the bike’.  We all need to move!   It’s good for blood flow and energizing.
