Fighting with Edits

As usual, I am behind on edits.  The second round for The Coup and the Prince are stuck.  I can’t figure out how to do what the editor has recommended, so I think the unfortunate solution is I won’t be doing it at all.  I can see how the change would benefit the overall story, but it requires 15k words added in such a way that it doesn’t disrupt the overall plot.  I just can’t figure out a way to finagle it without essentially destroying the story.  I’ve...
