Peter Gurry Interview: How Do We Know We Have an Accurate Copy of the New Testament?

We’ve interviewed Peter Gurry before on the Naked Bible podcast, and I’ve blogged some of his posts over at the Evangelical Textual Criticism blog. Peter is a bona fide New Testament textual critic, so he’s a good authority for the question posed in the title of this post. Listen to his interview with Alisa Childers and get the answer!

KL B What if it’s an accurate copy of a corrupted Alexandrian text? It’s a struggle sharing scripture many times with different text, I find. Instead of denominations seems it should be different version churches. My pastor only reads from ESV, and when I bring my version of choice there are some differences that give me pause on his teaching in some areas, they really don’t match in context and who they’re using that scripture for. It’s an important subject that God working in and brings truth is wonderful. Thanks Mike.
