Do you want it? Or Not? Oct. 16

So Travis and I just got off a 21-day sabbatical with God. We took the time to pray for each other, for other people and for direction/guidance in our own lives. Wow! It was AMAZING to see God move!! During that time, we saw people turning their live around for Christ, we saw our personal prayers being answered. We heard from God and just received God's blessings!



In that time, I did not write my weekly encouraging emails or blogs. It was not a time to give but of impartation and hearing from God.



In that time, I got a vision I wanted to share with you:

I was climbing up a very steep mountain. And I heard God say, "You can stop. If you want to continue to the next step, it will be 2 months before you reach the next level of the mountain."



I climb and indeed, it takes that long.



I want to go higher but I hear from God "If you want to continue, it will take 2 years before you are where you want to be. Do you want to stop? Or do you want to keep going? It's up to you. There is more danger up ahead. It's riskier. You will have to sacrifice more than you thought. You may feel lonely at times; your old friends cannot make this journey with you. It will be an uncomfortable climb. Do you want to stay? Or do you want to continue?"



For those who are facing insurmountable difficulties, and you are chasing a dream that is too big and you are fighting an uphill battle .... All I can say is... to keep going has to be worth it to you. You're going to have to want it. You're going to have to keep your eye on the prize.



God can make the climb with you. I can't.



I don't make these choices for you. It's up to you.



Now matter how long the wait. No matter how hard the climb. Do you want it? Or not?
