MY REVIEW
I've always had some fascination for historical romance and the idea of a mail order brides, so this story's had me at hello.
It started out a little slow, with the hero putting himself in harms way and hallucinating about his dead wife. However , it picked up soon after as the author introduced us to the heroine and a city inhabited predominantly by women.
Austin arrives in Angels Reach and becomes the second adult male living there. A difficult history with Cadence leads to immediate tension between them. However neither can deny their attraction to the other.
I found Austin and Cadence to be well-matched and the romance between them was sweet.
