A Day Long Workshop on Writing the Novel 13 October

I’ll be presenting in Jacksonville next Saturday from 9 to 4 on writing the novel and some on the publishing business. The presentation goes from the original idea, through plot, setting, dialogue, character, point of view, the creative process and more. Late in the afternoon we’ll discuss the current state of publishing and where it might be headed.

While it’s being put on by the local chapter of Romance Writers, this is for all genres.

To register, check HERE

Looking forward to seeing you there!

George Desmarais I am not a writer but, I have written a book. Being the author of a first book i is very difficult for me to make a judgement on its quality. I've tried to get an opinion from a variety of friends and family. All having qualified insight. My problem? Getting these people to read it. Initially I thought that no opinion meant that they they did not want to hurt the feelings of someone they cared for but, I now believe that for a variety of their own reasons they simply have not read it. I welcome the harshest of criticism or the honest of praise. With nothing I have nothing.
