It's interesting, but I got quite a few responses from people who said they couldn't enjoy Jeannette because of what she says here, "I don't care about your brat."

Almost all from guys, if I remember correctly.  Not sure what that means, but I found it memorable.

I'm a guy, and I like this page. It makes it clear she isn't just a villain in name. She hurts people, she kills people, and she does so for reasons that seem silly to anyone with a conscience. She's killed a lot of people, most of them have had families, and she has no reason to care. It's a nice way of establishing that she's not a nice person. Something that sadly became more of an informed ability as the series progressed. :(

I think that you hit on what bothered people, that she would kill someones mother without even thinking about it. It's not that they thought she was bad for threatening Cheshire, but because she would be cheerfully making an orphan.

But to me, it's just Jeannette.
