I am an Indian Author who has just published his Book on short stories : Journey from Guwahati to Machhiwara at an age of 63 when most people think of a Retired life. Guwahati is in North East of India, while Machhiwara is a small but a historical town connected with the Sikh community in Ludhiana district of Punjab. Guwahati was the first place of my posting in 1976 and it was Machhiwara from where I retired on 29 Feb 2012 after 35 years of service. I decided to pen down my experiences when I was sitting on the dice of my Retirement party. The book has a motley of 20 stories for all age groups of 10 to 90. It has comedies, tragedies, wit & humor. Thus started my Journey to write having traveled all over the country and in 10 foreign sojourns including USA, Pakistan. Nepal, Singapore, Malaysia. The stories are short and evocative and you can consume them like sweet or savory snacks___sample a few or many!!! Happy Reading to all my Readers from India & abroad !!!
