“Failures in Social Media” edition.

I decided it was time to post something about the Chik-Fil-A cows. I was going to say, “Don’t let their charming spelling errors fool you–if you stop eating chicken those cows will sell each other out in a heartbeat.”

But by the time I was at my computer, I’d come up with “Does anybody else have a problem with the new Chik-Fil-A ad where the cows encourage you to kill chickens just to watch them die?”

In my personal, unbiased, neutral opinion, that’s funny as hell. So I posted it.

The Facebook “likes” were woefully insufficient. The three comments, instead of indicating merry amusement, were of the “WTF???” variety, even though a post about Chik-Fil-A producing an advertisement where their cows call for the thrill-killing of chickens should have been reasonably obvious as a joke.

I delete under-enjoyed posts like a sports team coach taking out underperforming players with a sniper rifle, and so this one went bye-bye. RIP.
