There was an ITV drama in the UK about this case, “Code of a Killer”. It was very good, superior to most of ITV’s output.

Generally, I’ve avoided Wambaugh.

Danny Smith The Blooding. It is one of the only non-fiction books he has written. The Onion Field is another. But The Blooding is the story of those two murders you mention in Code of a Killer, and how DNA was used to solve them. It is a great book.
