A dun close to the better known Borve Stone Row on the Isle of Skye (see nearby sites list). Dun Borve, situated at an altitude of 180 metres on the hillside just east of the village of Borve, has a striking appearance from the above but is revealed as an almost featureless stoneheap at close quarters. All that remains of the former broch is a large circular heap of large tumbled stones at least 20 metres wide and three metres tall with almost no walling courses visible save a few large outer foundation blocks on the southwest and a short exposure of interior walling on the south.
