Interrogation

La Evone was very friendly when we first met, ordering a drink for me as we sat down. I was amazed that he didn't have even the slightest accent. He began to interrogate me ... many questions ... becoming very rapid fire ... including "What did you have for breakfast?
But when he stopped and looked at me angrily, he said "I'll check out all these answers. If ANY of them are not correct, you won't live to see daylight."
The hairs on the back of my neck stood up because I believed him. I started worrying that I might have forgotten some detail or mixed up some information. WHAT DID I HAVE FOR BREAKFAST? I couldn't remember.
