I have not been blogging or updating my social media much. Sorry about that. A book I was working on got axed. The editor said it needed too much help to go to print by Christmas. So that’s what I’ve been up to lately.
On one hand, I get it. She’s right. The Christmas book did need help. On the other hand, the death of this particular work has caused a few problems. My wife and I write together. She does a lot of typing since I cut my wrist with a skill saw, so with this book being dead in the water, she has sorta gone on strike.
When I ask her if everything is ok, she says yes. But… when I ask her if she wants to start writing a new book she says really politely “no thanks.”
I’m not sure what’s next for us right now. I guess for the moment I will sit back and wait and watch. If we start a new story, you will be the first to know!
