Book Signing Follow-up, Barnes & Noble Booksellers
Book signing follow-up. I took a scenic journey through the Bitteroots Mountains, along the Idaho/Montana border, and across the Continental Divide of the Northern Rockies, before driving down onto the wide plains and harvested wheat fields of Montana, before arriving in Bozeman, a major university town, home to Montana State University, to sign at Barnes and Noble Booksellers.
Again, I was fortunate enough to conduct another successful book signing. Handed out a lot of flyer packets and met a lot of interesting people from around the region, but also people visiting from Spokane (my home area) and from the Netherlands and Canada.
To say the least, management was pleased with my efforts. The events director, Beverly, told me that last week the store had a couple who had written a book about Montana State University for a signing. The couple did not speak to a single person who entered the store, and looked at the smart phones the entire time. Beverly was disgusted to say the least. "That is not how you sell books," she said. "I am so pleased to have you here today, and happy you will return next Spring."
I want thank store manager, Theresa O'neil, assistant manager, Jamie, event director, Beverly Delap, and associates, Molli and Roman (yes, his name is Roman, he loves Roman history and is a history major at Montana State University) for contributing to the success of this event. I will return Spring, 2019, for another signing. Next signing, Saturday, Sept. 29th, EntertainMART, Couer d'Alene, Idaho.
