Comment about my poems

The ultimate honor as far as I am concerned
Rita Oakes, is a retired Multimedia Producer, Director, Researcher, Designer, Editor, and Writer. She recently said this about two of my poems ("All is Lost" and "Hope Rising") that were published in Tuck Magazine: “So many poems are so inscrutable they are not worth the effort to read them. Not Christine’s! Deep and winding, rising and falling, some full of hope, some despair, always crafted with piercingly perfect phrases. Always rewarding in unexpected ways.” Such words of praise from a person who reads my work are better than any award.

Naomi-Lynn Marguerite Christine is an amazing person with a heart of gold. At first glance, her writings and musings may appear a bit simplistic, but they are not. They put deep thoughts and her heart in an approachable, beautiful design, which is the mark of a true poet. Edgar Allen Poe is not Emily Dickinson. Christine is Christine. What she has to say is worth reading. Or better yet reading aloud and having the words soak into your soul.
