Leave me Alone; I'm Reading!

Sometimes it's hard to carve out time and space for reading. When I used to work outside the home - I have been a retail clerk and factory worker, among other things - it was always hard to convince people, without being rude, that yes, I really was happy on my own, and no, I didn't want company. Well meaning as they were, they didn't know that introverted li'l ole me really did want to bury her nose in a book and read.

This morning I thought, you know what would have helped? Book covers that got the message across without saying anything at all.
