A Wolf Battle

I know, I know, they're really playing. But doesn't it look like a wolf eat wolf world?
Do you ever feel like that? That if you say the wrong thing, you'll get your head bitten off?
What do you do? Well, see, if you're a wolf, you bite right back. That's right.
In every wolf book, I have to think of new...no, not think of, but find new wolf behavior details I can use in a story.
So just like with each of the earlier stories, in A Highland Wolf Wedding, I reference what a wolf biologist called one wolf when describing her. Now, it's complimentary in a way, but on the other hand it compares her with a dog. And so, not really the best of compliments. The wolf biologist didn't know better though. Still, Duncan sees her in the same way, not in the bad way, but in a good way.
In Dreaming of the Wolf, well, I had to research about how ordinary citizens could keep wolves as pets. :)
In A SEAL in Wolf's Clothing, ...how wolves can be SEALs. LOL
In Savage Hunt...oh, wait, that's about big kitty cats, and of course, all that I included in the book will be stuff I researched for the story.
Now, if a jaguar decides to do a headlock, whoever the intended victim is, probably isn't going to believe this is play. They have the strongest most deadly bites of any of the big cats, even though they are the third largest cat!
I'm off to work and hope that it goes well and no one is doing any biting today!
