My wife answered the door to a neighbour recently and the local bird population who are used to being fed when our door opens started gathering on the lawn. The neighbour noticed nothing but behind her the bravest of the Jackdaws took a step forward, closely followed by the less brave. Watching from the window I could see a black tide creeping up behind the unsuspecting neighbour. It was like a scene from the film, the Birds. The moral of this is look around you as you might see something unexpected.
