Helen I usually take the day off when a new J. D. Robb book comes out, but was unable to yesterday, so instead of speeding through the first read, I had to take it in sections. I did re-read the last few chapters and epilogue immediately, because it was so fantastic. I read a couple of reviews that didn't think the epilogue had anything to do with the rest of the book, and I was stunned. In Eve's progression through the series, this was a huge deal for her to...(I'm trying to put it without a spoiler,) put the job second in order to fulfill other's needs and dreams, and do so with a new knowledge of how people desperately need balance in their lives. Eve's intense concentration on her job didn't change, but it seemed a very big step in her life. Great job!

Camille Loved it. Stayed up way past by bedtime to finish it. The in Death Series is one that I reread religiously. It is nice to see Eve’s progression with the people in her life and in her progression with her relationship with Roarke.
