Vampires

Vampire – there is a generation whose teeth are swords and whose jaws are knives, devouring the oppressed from the earth, and the needy from among men. The leech has two daughters: Give and Give. There are three things that are never satisfied, four that never say, “Enough!”: Sheol, the barren womb, land that is never satisfied with water, and fire that never says, “Enough!”…

The vampire may be mentioned in Proverbs 30:15: “The alukah (ʿaluqah) hath two daughters, crying, ‘Give, Give.’” Hebrew ʿaluqah may simply mean “leech,” but since ʿaulaq occurs in Arabic literature as a name of a vampire, this creature and her two daughters may be referred to in this rather difficult passage.

Also, see Kurt Koutch for his experiences in the 20th Century. Their are many myths about vampires some of which may be true. I do not think they are dead.. However, they do drink peoples blood and do their dirty work at night.
