First Things First

I feel it is important that I introduce myself to you, the reader. The prospective reader. The avid reader. The hesitant and very picky reader. You don't know my books. My style. My humor. We've never met.

Hello.

Like many adventures, this one has its share of bad guys. They stole a weapon, participated in breaking it, and then spent thousands of years fighting to put it back together.

Which is where our journey begins.

There are three main characters (one boy, two girls) who may, or may not, always get along. I mention them now because, to me, it would not be a story without them. I love them. Their quirks and quibbles and sometimes giggles will make you laugh out loud. The fact that they have what some would call 'super powers', is an added bonus. It's exciting to watch those powers develop throughout the story.

Elsewhere in the book, you will witness the struggle between Light and Darkness, experience life on another planet, meet at least one bossy parental figure, and discover how to become invisible.

This journey is going to take some time, so I hope you hang around for books two and three. I have been told that Out of the Darkness is "awesome", "the best book ever", and "one of my favorite books". I hope one day soon I'll be reading your review. I am thoroughly excited to hear what you think.
