Drabble: Yielding to love

As new drivers, we are taught that one driver must yield the right of way to another. Two objects can’t occupy the same space at the same time. Space and time are limited, but love is not.

Love is staying in one place because another needs you there. Love can occupy two places at once – two hearts beating together. Warmth. Comfort.

Love is giving your time to another. Is there work to be done? Yes, but it can wait. Companionship. Trust. Love.
