Shari Branning Thanks for this! I can relate. Going through seasons of depression, panic attacks, and also needing more sleep than the average person to be able to function... And writing has always been the thing that I've hung my dreams on. Sometimes I'm too burnt out to write, other times it's been a salvation, but it's always been there.

On a side note, I spent many summers in Alaska, and kinda feel like i did my growing up there. It will always have a piece of my heart that calls it home. I've felt the exhaustion of their endless days and living and working to the max during the summer, and can't even imagine carrying on that pace during the winter when it's dark. I'm sure it would play with your mind horribly.
