Two Influential Writers

Eight or nine years ago I was part of a writer's forum--I can't remember the exact name of it but I do remember chatting with two people:

One was a women who went by the nickname of, MiniMouse. She was unpublished at the time (like most of us there), but she wrote very well. Her voice showed up even in her posts. Her real name I found out later was, Sara Gruen. She wrote, Riding lessons and Water for Elephants.

The other person's nickname was simply, /write.
They never posted any other comment in the forums other than /write. Always bold and there was always a 'forward slash' /write. They'd  regularly jump into the middle of vibrant ongoing debates and simply post: /write. These funny and timely posts often annoyed people but jolted everyone back to the task at hand. I like to think it was another famous author who knew about writing--reminding us all of what's really required to be New York Times Bestseller..
