Sorry for not posting

This is Puff last Christmas as he opened his presents.

I want to say that I'm sorry to those who follow my site but Monday I had to put down my best friend.  Puff had been there for me every day of his almost 14 years.  Greeting me when I came in and loving me no matter what.  He was there as my nurse when I had back surgery and any time in between that I simply didn't feel good.  If you're an animal lover, you'll understand what I'm going through.  If you aren't, you're missing out on some of the best non-conditional love you'll ever have.

Andrew Smith My dog, Dutch, died the day before Princess Diana. I was so annoyed 'cos some people thought I was crying for her. I tried to explain that it was actually my dog I was blubbering about. I'm sure some people didn't believe me! Sorry to hear about Puff.

Martha Cheves I've had dogs my whole life but Puff was different. He went through so much with me and was always there to greet me for almost 14 years. I had never had to put a dog down and this just about killed me. Yesterday was just a bit better for me. 2 things happened. My vet called to say his ashes were ready for pick up and I received a beautiful card from my vet in the mail telling me that I did the right thing. I was a little unsure about picking up his ashes but when I did it was like something settled inside me. He was no longer out there by himself he was home with me. Yep, I may be crazy but he was my best ever friend.
