Most people in the writing world know about NaNoWriMo. National Novel Writing Month. For the month of November writers all over the world sign up to write a novel aka 50,000 words. The idea is to turn off your internal editor and just write. For some of us that's easy, for others not so much but whichever category you fall into you plant your butt in the chair and your fingers on the keyboard and start typing on November 1.
I've done it a few years now, don't remember how many times I've been successful and going to the NaNo site doesn't help me because twice I've hit the 50k mark and not uploaded my words before the cut off.
Yeah, clever I am. Anyway, I'm at it again this year and I'm determined to not only reach my goal of 50k but to also remember to upload when I'm done. I've even written myself a little note.
In the last 24 hrs my plans have been turned upside down. Okay fine, they've just been switched around.
Whatever. So instead of working on my planned wip I now have to work on a different one. And I should be able to tell you why in a few days. Just waiting for some paperwork.
