Stephen King's "On Writing"
This book was spectacular. Here's my Goodreads review: "It was amazing. An excellent source for writers. Stephen King has an awesome and honest voice. He paints an incredible picture, full of sound advice."
I could say more, but mainly, read it if you want to write.
He starts out with stories of his journey into writing. In the second part he gets down to brass tacks. And provides a great defense for the use of common language (expletives) in his books.
Thank you Stephen for standing up for freedom of speech and an honest use of common language, especially common among regular folks; from hardworking blue collar people to massive Hollywood stars.
