Here’s the first look at the cover for The City in the Middle of the Night, my brand new novel coming out February 2019. This is my second adult novel for Tor (not the same as my young-adult trilogy, which is still in the pipeline). It’s about Sophie, a young girl who gets banished into permanent darkness on a planet where the sun never rises or sets —- and Sophie only survives by learning to communicate with the creatures who live in the dark.
