To The Bone UK tour review roundup

UK newspaper The Sun review one of last week’s Royal Albert Hall shows, saying “A stunning sound and light show, including holograms and animation, plus a superb band and you had one of the best shows of the year – and it’s only March”. You can read the full review here.

Meanwhile Prog magazine give the Warwick Arts Centre show a 2 page review: “…spectacular. Nowhere Now glides by in a rush of The Who power chords with a spiralling Pink Floyd chorus. A dreamlike Pariah features a digital duet with Ninet Tayeb, her face projected 20-feet high”, and “Song of I is a dramatic, widescreen wonder, making the point in a complicated Venn diagram where Ulver, Depeche Mode and Portishead collide. It’s all very loud, surprisingly heavy and has an aggressive, occasionally violent sheen. And it’s all done without losing any of the elegant, uplifting beauty of the composition”.
