My life is wonderful, is yours ?

When thinking about my day, I keep coming back to happy place as my life is beautiful and wonderful all wrapped up into one, is yours?
Sounds a bit far fetched you may say or even ask, how on earth is it wonderful?

I awoke this morning to the sound of the birds singing and yes I know the birds make a fierce racket but if you take a moment to listen.
How do they hit the notes so well, what gives them the motivation to wake up with a song and sound so chirpy first thing in the morning?
My ex's grandma was native American and she always used to tell me how her grandma always said "pay attention to the birds"
When severe weather is coming they can alert us and when even earthquakes they say the birds start acting funny just before but this is about their song in the morning.
The bird wakes up happy by nature's instinct, wakes up singing and brings a nice chorus to my ears on a morning that is no different to any other than just nice.

I took a step outside soon after and a big deep breath to start my day, what beauty! The air filled my lungs so pure and fresh, almost had a taste of something angelica like. I really cannot explain the pure taste or fresh feeling it brings to me other than just another beautiful thing that fills my life with wonderful moments.
The air we breathe so essential to our very existence and when we stop for a moment and appreciate exactly what we have in that breath we take, it can taste so wonderful, help to feel so nice all over our whole being and adds that get up and go mood to any day.
Pay attention to your breath and it may relax you while motivating you just like the birds.

I look across the garden and see a new rose has grown fully out of its little bud. The colour is just amazing, red like dark red almost decadent. The colours of those big old curtains in a theatre that open just before the show, the colour of which we rarely take note of because we are anticipating great entertainment. But that colour of deep and lush red, almost black at a certain angle.
It is that colour that for no reason this flower has decided to be or made and it brings a warm feeling.
The feeling where does it come from just from a colour ?
This rose has shown up has such a soft look to it, plush, like the way we want our bathrobe or dressing gown to be. No, not necessarily the colour but the soft and cotton like plushness to it.

I am lucky to be able to share with you my morning and I am just like any one of you out there who has five hundred things to moan and complain about, however my choice is to recognize the beauty and enjoy it. You should try it.
500 things to complain and probably a few more, so here are just the 3 things it has taken to make the day beautiful and remind me of my wonderful life.

Enjoy your weekend

RLB Hartmann Thanks for posting this. My life here on the old family homestead in the NC foothills is about as ideal as it gets. No complaints from me.

Nice to have some perspective to gain that appreciation or just, evaluate.
Have a great weekend .

Kelly Johnson There is truth to paying attention to birds. When predatory danger is about, they are no where to be seen or heard.

Thanks for sharing.

RLB Hartmann We have lots of cardinals here (it's our state bird), so we keep fringe underbrush for them because they love it. There's one who lights on the fence outside the front door while we're having morning coffee, to make sure I'm still coming out soon to scatter seed and give them clean water. Before the field in front of the house grew up in trees, we had more and different birds than we do now, which is sad. Mostly jays, doves, wrens, in-season chickadees, and white throated sparrows, with an occasional rufus-breasted tohee come around now, but back then we had quail families and yellow warblers. ALMOST make me want to take out a few trees.
