One of the most elegant graves in the Manila North Cemetery is that for Sergio Osmeña Sr, (1878-1961) 4th President of the Philippines, 2nd President of the Commonwealth. Osmena, Magsaysay and Roxas are still buried in Norte unlike Quezon who was translated to QC. Osmeña has the luxury of simple design and space, rising in the background is a condominium type grave a mirror of the situation in Makati where gated communities like Forbes and Dasmariñas have hi-rise condos rising around them.
